We recently experienced an issue with our third-party SMS provider that caused messages sent between 2:40 PM on 25 June and 1:00 AM on 26 June (AEST) to become stuck and not be delivered. These messages remained in an “Awaiting Dispatch” state during the incident window.

All affected messages have now been aborted and will not be sent, and SMS services are currently operating as normal. At this stage, the provider has not supplied a confirmed root cause, and we are continuing to follow up for further details.

We have confirmed that schools were charged for SMS messages during this period despite the delivery failure. Credits will be applied to fully refund the impacted message expenditure.
